About subscription cancellations

What you need to know

  • Only the licensee can cancel a FinView trial or paid subscription. The licensee might be the business owner or director of your business.
  • There is a one month cancellation notice period for paying FinView subscriptions unless otherwise stated in your FinView order.
  • When the Licensee cancels a subscription, it doesn't delete your data or FinView account and login. Instead, your data is archived and your organisation can be reactivated.
  • Cancellation is for an individual organisation. If you're the licensee for several organisations, cancelling one subscription won’t affect the others.
  • If there's an outstanding amount or your organisation is suspended, the subscriber will need to pay the overdue amount before cancelling the subscription.
  • Once your organisation is cancelled, you won't be able to access it's data. If you need ongoing access to your FinView subscription, then the licensee can request to change the pricing plan by having direct contact with us. We don't have a read-only plan.

About the one month cancellation notice period

There’s a one month cancellation notice period when the subscriber cancels their FinView paid organisation unless alternative terms have been defined in your FinView order. During the notice period, all users will continue to have access to the subscription. We’ll continue to bill you for access to the organisation during this period.

The Licensee can stop your request to cancel if you're still within the notice period.

After you've cancelled your subscription, you will only have access to the FinView organisation for the remaining notice period.

Your next subscription invoice

Depending on when you cancel your FinView subscription, you might receive your final invoice outside of your usual billing date. For example, if you receive your subscription invoice on the 21st of each month and you cancel your subscription on 16 July, your final invoice from FinView will be for the period 21 July to 15 August.

If you have other subscriptions on the same billing account, we'll include the final charges for the cancelled subscription on your next subscription invoice. We'll continue to bill your other subscriptions on the same cycle.

How to cancel your subscription

All cancellation requests need to be sent to the following email address: [email protected]

The date of cancellation will be indicated when we confirm your cancellation request. If you cancel your FinView subscription, you will still be charged for the notice period.
